Tentacles not recognised in IOS

Tried 3 different Tentacles, 2 different iPhones all using same supplied white cable – none of them are being recognised in IOS.  Occasionally messages will differ between “tentacle not connected” or “your tentacle is not responding”.  All 3 Tentacles are working via USB on a Mac, and they are syncing with each other.

I had to buy a new iPhone 5s to run the 10.3.3 version.

What iPhone are you using and is it running the latest software?
