I’ve got tentacle track e and Sony fx3, they’re not syncing time code.

I’ve got the tentacle track e, a Sony fx3, and the little cable that goes from output of the tentacle to the micro-usb of the fx3. I set it to free run, I switched on the time code thing in the settings menu, i push sync on the app and set the frame rate, I connect it to the camera and no syncing occurs.

that’s what the manual says to do. I have looked at the videos and that’s what the videos do too. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.
