Alexa timecode sync

Hi

I’m syncing arri alexa that is shooting in 24 fps, jammed the tentacle with timecode from St 664 that is set to 24 fps, I get green flashes but jamming the Alexa I get framerate mismatch. But jamming the alexa straight from sd is no problem

You can also Jam the Tentacle to the 664, start it up in RED mode and connect tc out from 664 to tc in on tentacle, it will jam and flash green. But the frame rate should be identical.

No, you can not jam the frame rate from your SD 664. You have to “tell“ your TentacleBox via TentacleSetup.

Don’t have IPhone, but the tentacle should change when it is jammed to the sound devices.

I have now installed the latest firmware and will try it aging on Wednesday.
