Having difficulty activating sync studio software through USB connection to my device

I’ve tried to activate the Tentacle Studio Sync via the “GET A FREE DEVICE LICENCE” option and each time I’m prompted to

“Please Connect and Tentacle Device via USB”

The device is connected and turned on but the software fails to recognise this…The device is being recognised by the TentacleSetup Software…Not sure why it isn’t being recognised by the Sync software…

Please close the Tentacle Setup App on your computer, when trying to get a device license. That might help.
