How can I export all audio, also when no video is recorded.

Dear people at Tentacle and others,

I have a large project where small chunks of video are recorded over a longer audio file. How can I export keeping all audio?

Often just 1 minute of ‘talking head’ is recorded and then the audio continues without video. I don’t want the clips to end at the edges of the video. I want to be able to get the full thing and use B-roll for the parts where there is no video, without having to manually connect seperate audio files from the bin with original footage.
