Draining battery

I’ve had a couple on tentacle sync e Mk2’s for about 3 years now. A while ago one of them seemed to drain the battery while turned off. I got around to replacing the battery last weekend. Today I tried turning it on again and same thing, battery is completely empty. Brand new battery. Any suggestions what to do?
