Does the file keep the metadata in audio when synced with tentacycle studio

Depends.
If exporting as XML, obviously yes. Because the xml refers to the original media. An XML gives the editor a timeline with synced video and audio. Some editors like that, some hate to work from this.
If exporting as quicktime movie, no. Only the (TOD) timecode will be there. But no other metadata.
Transition of meta data from picture edit to audio post is only guaranteed if exported as separate .wav media. If the editor uses embedded audio it is not. Only exception i know thus far is when exporting from FCPX using X2Pro.
If you want to make sure your meta data reaches audio post, which i think is something very very! handy, make sure you let sound, picture editor and audio post talk to each other to set up a syncing method, and correct AAF workflow.
