Hook one Tentacle Sync to several cameras/recorders

Hello,

currently I’m syncing my audio via Plural Eyes using wireless transmitters feeding my audio (from external recorder) into several different cameras (one transmitter, several receivers). Would that setup also work with Tentacle Sync?

Is it possible to hook one tentacle onto several cameras/recorders standing next to each other via a splitter cable or via a Sennheiser G3 transmitter and have several cameras with the corresponding receivers record the signal?

I know one tentacle is cheaper than a G3 receiver but I already have them.

Hello Simon,

this should work. A timecode signal is an audio signal. Therefore you can do the same things with timecode as with normal audio. But you should take some care of proper leveling the inputs so that the timecode signal will not be distorted.
