Micro SD Error

I have rented a Tentacle Sync Track E from lens rentals.com It cam with a micro-SD card that appears to be the correct type of card: Sandisk Extreme, Micro SD HCI, 32GB Class 10, V30, U3 A1.

When I insert the card and call up the Track E on my iPhone the device fails to sync. There is an error message of “SD Card: Wrong Format”. It will not allow me to format the card.

I am able to mount the card in an external reader on my MacBook Pro and the card is in good health.
