Phantom Power 48V with tentacle sync

Are the tentacle syncs designed to work on XLR outputs that are passing out 48V phantom power? i.e a 2 channel recorder tascam? Want to ask before I plug in and push it at the tentacle, not sure if it’ll break it?

Hi Craig,

Tentacles are properly protected against 48V phantom power. Actually they use the presence of phantom power as an indicator for mic input. When “Auto Mic Enable” is checked in the setup app, they will automatically switch from line to mic level when phantom or plugin power is detected.
