Syncing Sony A7s Timecode recorded on Audio-Channel with audio from Sound devices 633 for FCPX

I have a Sony A7s MK2, and a sound device 633.
I run a cable and record timecode on the audiochannel of the A7s.
I edit in FCPX.

What would be the best way to get it synced?
Can I use Tentacle Software for this?

I would prefer it to have videoclips with the audio from the 633 integrated into it. For easy quick editting.

In stead of a synced xml project timeline with all the clips synced but still seperate.

Hi Stefan,

this sounds like a setup what Tentacle Sync is made for 🙂
A7s, Sound Devices 633, Editing in FCPX, I see no problems here. Batch syncing an a per-clip base is also possible with the new FCPX XML export function.

This will work like a charm!

It will work. Shooting will be much easier with a tentacle on the camera instead of the cable, but the syncing workflow will be the same.
