Tentacle with Atomos Shogun and Zoom F8

Hi,

I work at Gothenburg University in Sweden and we are interested in buying tentacle sync for our film directing students.

We are currently filming with Panasonic GH4:s, Atomos Shogun recorders, a Sound devices 788T and we’re buying a Zoom F8.

What do we need to get started?

I was thinking to jam the 788T with the tentacle and then attach it to the Shogun recorder that need a constant feed of LTC timecode through BNC. Is this the right way to go or do we need another tentacle for the 788T to get it to sync?

The same question regarding the Zoom F8. Is it enough with one tentacle if we jam sync the F8?
